My Real Trip Announces "2025 Travel Trends"… Flights, Accommodations, Tours, and Tickets Surpass 3 Million

 – 1 million flights, 400,000 accommodations, 2 million tours and tickets

Demand is expanding to major Chinese cities, Southeast Asian resort destinations, and small Japanese cities.

In 2026, the company plans to expand collaboration between airlines and agencies, strengthen its accommodation product lineup, and promote inbound business.

My Real Trip (CEO Dong-Geon Lee), Korea's leading travel super app, announced its '2025 Travel Trends', which contains key travel data for the year 2025.

According to 2025 travel data released by My Real Trip, the total number of trips made through air travel, accommodation, tours, and ticket services exceeded 3 million. Of these, approximately 1 million were airline ticket reservations. The top air travel destinations were Jeju, Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo, and Busan, in that order, with areas with high accessibility and repeat visit demand forming the center of air travel.

Consumption of travel experiences also stood out. Tours and tickets accounted for approximately 2 million transactions, confirming a consumer trend toward more convenient access to diverse experiences while traveling. Top cities for usage were Osaka, Tokyo, Paris, Taipei, and Fukuoka, all of which boast a strong concentration of cultural and tourism content.

In the accommodation sector, a total of 400,000 purchases were made, resulting in approximately 800,000 nights of stay. This equates to approximately 2,191 years of travel. The cities with the most accommodations were Jeju, Incheon, Osaka, Seoul, and Paris, demonstrating a clear trend toward domestic staycations and urban accommodations.

In addition, Shanghai, Nagoya, Bali, Porto, and Macau were selected as the fastest-growing overseas destinations in 2025. Along with the recovery in travel demand to major Chinese cities, choices are diversifying to include regional Japanese cities, Southeast Asian resort destinations, and emerging European destinations.

Founded in 2012, MyRealTrip began as a guided tour brokerage service and has since expanded its business to include flights, accommodations, car rentals, and activities, growing into a one-stop platform encompassing the entire travel experience. Currently, with 10 million cumulative subscribers and 5 million monthly active users (MAU), it has solidified its position as Korea's leading travel platform.

This year, My Real Trip plans to enhance its service competitiveness by expanding collaborations with airlines and agencies and strengthening its accommodation product lineup. In particular, to address the growing demand for Korean tourism due to the spread of K-culture, the company plans to focus on inbound tourism and improve its products and user experience for both domestic and international travelers.

A My Real Trip representative stated, “2025 was a year in which travel demand increased and consumption of experiences during travel became more evident,” adding, “This year, we will focus on enhancing competitiveness across major categories such as airfare, accommodation, and tours, and expanding the inbound market to become a global travel platform.”
