– A new concept air cleaning device that cleans the air with water instead of a filter.
– Scheduled to launch on Kickstarter in the first half of 2026

Watervation was selected as a company to participate in the IBK Changgong Pavilion at CES 2026, the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition, and unveiled its new air cleaning device, 'CUE', for the first time on-site.
CUE is an air purification device that utilizes water-based air purification technology, rather than conventional filtering. Its design, which removes fine dust and harmful gases by washing them with water, fundamentally addresses the problem of secondary pollution caused by contaminants accumulating in the filter, as well as the issue of filter waste. Its design eliminates the need for filter replacement, reducing maintenance burden and offering a competitive edge over existing air purifiers in terms of hygiene and sustainability.
CUE utilizes Watervation's proprietary WVG (Water Volume Grid) technology. WVG effectively treats air pollutants and harmful gases by spraying fine water particles to maximize contact area.
Watervation's strategy is to expand CUE into a next-generation air purification solution applicable not only to residential spaces but also to various indoor environments, including public facilities, educational facilities, and medical settings. Watervation's filter-less water-based air purification device was designated as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service in 2025. Through this, Watervation plans to enter the public institution and government procurement markets.
Watervation plans to launch CUE in the first half of 2026 through the global crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. Subsequently, the company plans to gradually expand its distribution network across global B2C, B2B, and B2G channels through collaboration with online and offline distributors and strategic partners.
Watervation CEO Jeong Yun-yeong said, “Just as rain washes the air in nature, we have now implemented the concept of cleaning indoor air with water using technology.” He added, “CUE is not just a simple home appliance; it will become a new air purification standard that can be expanded beyond the consumer market to public and industrial environments.”
Meanwhile, Watervation is expanding its portfolio to include industrial scrubbers, large-scale air conditioning modules, and indoor air purification products based on water-based air purification technology.
