Meisa Signs Business Agreement with Umi Construction

Meisa, a spatial analysis AI platform company, announced on the 29th of last month that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Woomi Construction for the 'development of automation of construction records and digital twin-based field operation technology.'

Representatives from Woomi Construction and Meisa attended the signing ceremony to discuss future cooperation and technological advancements. Woomi Construction has been implementing and operating Meisa's smart spatial information platform across all its sites since 2024. This agreement aims to explore technological advancements more closely aligned with field operations, building on operational experience and feedback gained through actual field applications.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to refine the operating environment of the Meisa platform, which has been implemented across all Umi Construction sites, and to gradually establish an automated construction record system while enhancing functionality to improve work efficiency. Furthermore, they plan to jointly develop a digital twin-based integrated operating system that integrates and analyzes various spatial information data, including drones, 360-degree cameras, CCTV, and BIM, to support construction, safety, and quality management.

Meisa provides a smart spatial information platform that utilizes spatial information analysis technology based on drone and satellite data to support construction site construction record management and status monitoring. Through data integration and automated record management features tailored to on-site operational flow, Meisa focuses on reducing the workload of field workers and enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of on-site management.

Meisa CEO Choi Seok-won stated that the partnership with Woomi Construction will focus on technological advancements based on field operation experience and the establishment of a digital twin-based operational model optimized for domestic construction sites.

Kim Hye-won, managing director of Woomi Construction, emphasized the importance of smart technology in construction sites and explained that by combining construction know-how and technological capabilities, she would set a new standard for site management.
