Seojin Systems' subsidiary Texon has signed a strategic technology partnership with IMC Group's Ingersoll.

Seojin Systems announced on the 16th that its subsidiaries Texon USA and RBR Machine have signed a strategic technology partnership (MOU) with Ingersoll Cutting Tools, a global tool group and a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway's International Metalworking Companies (IMC Group).

Through this partnership, Seojin Systems plans to expand its high-value-added manufacturing business, focusing on aerospace, defense, semiconductors, and robotics, while simultaneously strengthening profitability and global competitiveness. This long-term technological collaboration is particularly significant in the aerospace and defense industries, which require high-level precision processing and stringent security and quality standards.

Seojin Systems has established a global production system that combines the high-security, high-precision manufacturing capabilities of the US mainland with the large-scale mass production capabilities of Vietnam. By incorporating advanced tooling technology and process solutions from IMC Group Ingersoll, the company aims to simultaneously secure the technological prowess and cost competitiveness demanded by the global aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and robotics industries.

The Vietnamese production bases owned by Seojin Systems and Texon boast a large-scale manufacturing infrastructure with over 4,000 machining centers (MCTs). They have proven their competitiveness by mass-producing key components as first-tier vendors for major global aerospace customers. This partnership is seen as a step toward integrating the IMC Group's advanced solutions with a "dual-tier-1 vendor strategy" that combines the technological expertise of RBR Machine in the US with the production infrastructure of Seojin Systems and Texon Vietnam.

Through this, the company expects to apply the latest global processing solutions to the MCT line within its Vietnamese production base and secure a differentiated manufacturing portfolio among domestic aerospace companies through the strategic introduction of IMC Group tools.

RBR Machine, a wholly owned US subsidiary of Seojin Systems, has maintained key partnerships with leading global aerospace companies pursuing reusable rockets and satellite internet constellations for over seven years. Based on U.S. State Department ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) certification, RBR Machine ensures a stable supply of high-precision, high-security components, securing its technological prowess and credibility within the US aerospace industry.

IMC Group, a global tool company wholly owned by Berkshire Hathaway, is a leader in the metalworking market, focusing on high-value-added industries such as aerospace, defense, and heavy equipment. Led by its core brand, Ingersoll, IMC Group enjoys high trust from global aerospace and defense customers.

“The combination of RBR’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities in the U.S. and Vietnam’s large-scale production infrastructure with IMC Group’s technological prowess has strengthened our competitiveness,” said RBR Machine CEO Yeon Gyu-heon. “We will establish ourselves as a long-term strategic manufacturing partner in the global aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and robotics industries.”
