Emro (CEO Song Jae-min) , a domestic AI-based supply chain management software company, announced on the 19th that its SRM SaaS solution 'Caidentia' has obtained the global security certification SOC2 Type 2.
SOC2 (Service Organization Control 2) is a certification system established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that evaluates the customer data management and information security controls of SaaS and cloud service providers. This certification is based on five core criteria: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy, and is used as a key criterion by global companies when selecting service providers.
In April of last year, Cadence obtained SOC2 Type 1 certification, which verifies the design suitability of its data management and information security control system. Through this SOC2 Type 2 certification, Cadence has officially recognized that control activities are continuously implemented in an actual operating environment.
As the transition of core corporate operations to SaaS accelerates, the importance of data security grows. This certification demonstrates Cadencesia's compliance with global security standards. Emro plans to leverage this achievement to strengthen its credibility in the global market and expand its customer base.
An Emro representative stated that the demand for SOC2 certification for service contracts in the global market is increasing, and explained that this certification not only validates Cadence's functional competitiveness but also its service reliability and stability. The company also stated that it plans to continue strengthening its system to meet the security requirements of global corporate customers.
