Monthly Kitchen (CEO Hyuk-gyun Kim), a global AI restaurant solution company, announced on the 14th that it signed a business agreement with Seo-gu, Gwangju (Mayor Lee-gang Kim) at its headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul to promote the 'AI-based small business digital transformation demonstration project.'
While existing digital support policies for small businesses have focused on hardware such as kiosks, this project focuses on management automation using data-driven artificial intelligence.
Monthly Kitchen's "AI Sales Up" solution integrates and analyzes customer, order, and sales data to diagnose a store's business status in real time. It then automatically issues customized coupons, creates promotions, and sends targeted marketing messages. This allows even store owners unfamiliar with digital devices to make data-driven management decisions with relative ease.
According to the company, stores that implemented the solution have seen sales increases ranging from 10% to 40%, based on actual operating data. The system is designed to stabilize and improve sales as data accumulates, with the goal of generating sustainable profits for small businesses.
In this pilot project, Gwangju Seo-gu is responsible for recruiting participating stores and providing administrative support, while Monthly Kitchen provides the AI solution and technological infrastructure. Based on the pilot results, the project's performance will be analyzed and potential expansion to other local governments will be considered.
Kim Ik-gang, the mayor of Seo-gu, Gwangju, said, “It is the role of the administration to create an environment where small business owners can continue to survive,” and added, “I expect that this project utilizing AI technology will contribute to revitalizing the local alley economy.”
Kim Hyuk-gyun, CEO of Monthly Kitchen, said, “We will support data-driven management to become a real competitive edge for small business owners,” and added, “Through AI technology, we will increase the self-sufficiency of stores and contribute to the revitalization of local commercial districts.”
