KNS INC (CEO Jin Byeong-wook), a company specializing in manufacturing military satellite communication antennas, announced on the 16th that it had submitted a preliminary application for listing on the KOSDAQ to the Korea Exchange. IBK Investment & Securities is the lead underwriter.
KNS INC. develops and manufactures satellite communication antennas for maritime and military applications. Building on its proprietary technology, it has successfully domestically produced a satellite communication antenna for submarines. This product has been supplied to the Navy's next-generation Maritime Operational Satellite Communication System (MOSCOS-II), establishing a stable mass production system.
Additionally, the company is expanding its business areas through continuous research and development, including the development of next-generation flat panel antennas (ESA) for low-orbit satellite communications.
Based on this technological prowess, KNSIC won the Minister's Award at the Radio and Broadcasting Technology Awards for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024, and the Minister's Award at the 2024 Korea Invention and Patent Exhibition for its patent related to submarine radomes. Furthermore, it has received awards such as the Minister of Science and ICT Award for Outstanding ICT Enterprise and the Minister's Award at the 2025 Korea Technology Awards.
Through this IPO, KNS INC plans to strengthen its R&D capabilities, enhance its production infrastructure, and expand its business to meet the growing demand for maritime and military satellite communications. This strategy aims to secure mid- to long-term growth momentum based on the reliability it has accumulated in the defense and public sectors.
