Visionworks Ventures Selected as Official Ambassador for Sushitech Tokyo 2026

Impact venture studio accelerator Visionworks Ventures (CEO Minpyo Kim) announced on the 16th that it has been selected as the official ambassador for SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, Asia's largest global innovation conference.

Sushitech Tokyo is a global event hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government that aims to solve sustainable urban issues and create new value through cutting-edge technologies and ideas. This year's event will be held from April 27th to 29th at Tokyo Big Sight West Hall, with Business Days on the 27th and 28th and Public Day on the 29th. The event will be held in a hybrid format, combining both offline and online events, and will focus on AI, robotics, resilience, and entertainment as core themes.

Visionworks Ventures served as an ambassador for Sushitech Tokyo 2025 last year and, in collaboration with the Korea Creative Content Agency's Tokyo Business Center, hosted the "Impact Driven Japan: Connect" event. Approximately 50 Korean and Japanese startup representatives and investors attended the event, and the startup recommended by Visionworks Ventures won the "Sustainable Startup Award."

This year, Visionworks Ventures plans to expand its ambassadorial role, supporting Korean startups entering the Japanese market and Japanese startups entering the Korean market, and fostering exchanges between startups in both countries. To this end, it will operate the second term of its global accelerator program, "Impact Driven Japan," systematically supporting startups' localization and networking efforts.

Kim Min-pyo, CEO of Visionworks Ventures, said, “It is meaningful to serve as an official ambassador for two consecutive years,” and added, “This year, we will strengthen our role as a practical cross-border accelerator to help startups from both countries settle into the market and create synergy.”
