Visioni Inc. (CEO Park Min-sik), a mobile access platform specialist, announced on the 20th that its energy harvesting-based mobile access solution, "PassMe2," has received "Innovative Product" certification from the Public Procurement Service. This certification allows for private contracts with public institutions and secures a stable public distribution channel through benefits such as exemption from liability for innovative product purchases and mandatory purchasing.
PassMe2 is a mobile access solution utilizing RF energy harvesting technology. Its strength lies in its ability to replace aging access systems or implement smartphone-based access functionality without the need for wiring. By harvesting ambient radio frequency energy and converting it into electricity, it enables long-term operation without battery replacement, simultaneously reducing carbon emissions and maintenance costs. These features align with public sector ESG management values.
PassMe2 has been deployed nationwide in residential facilities, including private homes, apartment complexes, and social housing, demonstrating its reliability. With this innovative product designation, Visioni plans to expand its application to various public infrastructure, including public housing for youth and happy housing, as well as government buildings and office buildings. This is expected to improve accessibility for vulnerable groups, including the elderly and people with disabilities, and contribute to innovation in public services.
Park Min-sik, CEO of Vision i, said, “With this designation as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service, we will strengthen verification activities centered on public institutions and pursue early commercialization,” adding, “In addition to establishing ourselves in the domestic public market, we will also pursue entry into overseas markets as an eco-friendly solution to respond to global climate change.”
