Beyond Medicine Selected as a Family-Friendly Certified Company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family

Beyond Medicine, a company specializing in AI-based digital therapeutics (DTx), announced on the 20th that it had been selected as a family-friendly certified company by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

Family-Friendly Certification is a system awarded by the government to companies and organizations that practice exemplary work-life balance through a comprehensive evaluation of work systems, childbirth and childcare support, family care systems, and organizational culture.

Beyond Medicine was recognized for fostering a family-friendly work environment through flexible work hours, flexible work arrangements, consideration for employees during childbirth and childcare, organizational management that considers employees' psychological well-being and work-life balance, and a performance-oriented, autonomous work culture. In particular, the company's commitment to employee sustainability, even amidst the demanding demands of clinical trials, regulatory approvals, and global expansion, was a key factor in its evaluation.

Beyond Medicine developed Clickless, an AI-based digital treatment device for temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ) disorders. This product was the first in Korea to receive Class 2 approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for the treatment of TMJ disorders, and was also designated as the first innovative medical device in the dental field. The company has completed domestic clinical trials and is currently pursuing commercialization and global market entry.

Kim Dae-hyun, CEO of Beyond Medicine, stated that the family-friendly certification was a public recognition of the company's operational direction of creating an organizational culture that fosters long-term growth for its employees. He went on to explain that the company plans to continue to drive sustainable innovation in the digital therapeutics field, building on a work environment that respects work-life balance.

Beyond Medicine plans to use this certification as an opportunity to gradually implement a mid- to long-term plan to improve its organizational culture, including enhancing its flexible work system, expanding support for employee health management, and expanding family care.
