
DS M.Fermenish, a global nutrition, health, and beauty company, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a business agreement with the Korean Nutrition Society to expand industry-academia collaboration in the fields of nutrition and health. Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to establish a collaborative system involving academia and industry, and gradually expand joint research and academic exchanges.
The Korean Nutrition Society is Korea's leading nutrition research institute, having spearheaded the establishment of the Korean Dietary Reference Intakes (KDRIs) based on data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Furthermore, it has participated in the development of legal nutrition guidelines, including establishing nutritional reference values, reviewing nutrition labels, and warning labels, thereby setting the overall direction for nutrition research in Korea.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will expand research exchanges in the fields of nutrition and health through joint research and hosting academic seminars and forums. They will also establish a collaborative platform for sharing the latest research findings and industry experience. This will strengthen the organic link between research results and industry.
