JLK (CEO Dongmin Kim) , a medical artificial intelligence (AI) specialist company, announced on the 22nd that it is accelerating the expansion of the domestic hospital market and sales growth by supplying stroke AI solutions to Konkuk University Hospital on a subscription basis.
Konkuk University Hospital has implemented a stroke solution, including JLK-CTP, a brain imaging analysis software. This solution provides analysis results within minutes of imaging, supporting medical staff's treatment decision-making. It is demonstrating its effectiveness in clinical situations requiring both speed and accuracy, particularly in hospitals equipped with emergency medical systems and stroke treatment infrastructure.
Professor Park Jeong-jin of the Department of Neurology at Konkuk University Hospital said, “For patients with acute stroke, treatment decisions must be made within a short period of time,” and added, “AI-based CT perfusion analysis helps medical staff intuitively understand the patient’s condition and make confident decisions.”
JLK is expanding its supply to major hospitals in the metropolitan area, strengthening its presence in the domestic large-scale hospital market. JLK CEO Kim Dong-min stated, "The subscription-based supply model reduces the initial adoption burden for hospitals and enables the establishment of long-term partnerships focused on clinical use."
This case demonstrates that medical AI is moving beyond a one-time introduction and becoming a standard for stroke treatment in Korea. Based on this, JLK plans to strengthen its presence in the domestic and international hospital markets.
