GN and Bureau Veritas Sign MOU for Product Cybersecurity Collaboration

ZIEN, Inc., an intelligent connected security platform company, announced on January 14, 2026 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Bureau Veritas, a global testing, certification, and inspection company, for cooperation in the field of product cybersecurity.

This agreement was pursued to address the growing need for cybersecurity in IoT and smart products, coupled with strengthening global regulations like the EU RED and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The two companies plan to establish a comprehensive cooperative system, encompassing product cybersecurity certification, technology verification, corporate security consulting, and solution integration.

The scope of cooperation includes ▲ vulnerability analysis and technology verification for IoT and smart products ▲ certification and testing cooperation to respond to global security regulations ▲ discovery of a joint business model combining GN AI-based IoT security automation solution and Bureau Veritas' global certification capabilities ▲ support for cybersecurity certification for overseas exports of domestic companies.

GN possesses AI-based firmware vulnerability analysis, SBOM generation, and automated global security regulation compliance technologies. Its core competency lies in automating the entire cybersecurity cycle, from product development to certification. Bureau Veritas provides global certification services across a wide range of industries, including electrical, electronics, and IoT products.

GN CEO Youngmin Cho said, “Through this MOU, we will establish a support system that will enable domestic companies to respond quickly and efficiently to cybersecurity regulations as they enter the global market,” and added, “We will actively pursue market expansion by combining product cybersecurity certification with automation solutions.”

A Bureau Veritas representative stated, “Through collaboration with GN, we will be able to strengthen our global certification service competitiveness and provide high added value to customers in the global market where cybersecurity is a prerequisite.”
