MarkVision Joins IPCG as Official Member

MarkVision (CEO In-Seop Lee), an AI-based brand trust-building solution company, announced on the 23rd that it has joined the IPCG, the UK IP Crime Countermeasures Council under the UK Intellectual Property Office, as an official member.

The IPCG is the UK's leading forum for intellectual property crimes, bringing together diverse stakeholders—including government, law enforcement, and the private sector—to combat intellectual property infringement, including counterfeiting, piracy, and gray market distribution. Led by the UK government, policymakers, executives, and industry representatives gather to discuss IP crime trends, response strategies, and collaborative approaches.

MarkVision's joining of the IPCG comes amidst a climate of systematic proliferation of counterfeit goods and illegal distribution through global distribution structures, and the sophistication of IP crime fueled by digital technology. The industry believes that MarkVision's participation will expand its role in building brand trust and the overall intellectual property protection ecosystem.

As a member of the IPCG, MarkVision plans to analyze IP crime enforcement and sanctions trends in the UK and advance solutions based on the threats facing businesses and brands. Furthermore, it plans to strengthen its support for counterfeit goods and illegal distribution, focusing on global e-commerce and social platforms, and continue to participate in international consultative bodies.

MarkVision has been an official Google TCRP partner since 2022, contributing to the global fight against illegal content distribution. Joining the IPCG has earned recognition for its IP protection capabilities from both global platforms and public institutions, solidifying its position as a comprehensive solutions provider encompassing counterfeit product response and brand protection.
