The Seoul Women's and Family Foundation signed a business agreement with the Korean Federation of Women Scientists and Engineers.

The Seoul Women's and Family Foundation announced on January 23 that it signed a business agreement with the Korean Federation of Women Scientists and Engineers to support the growth of female technical talent and spread social awareness of gender equality.

This agreement, the first of its kind in 2026, was driven by the shared understanding between both organizations on the need to strengthen capacity to expand women's economic participation in the AI era and to promote a culture of work-life balance and gender equality within the science and technology sector.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will establish a practical capacity-building program to support the growth of female technical talent and jointly pursue various projects to establish a culture of gender equality across the science and technology sectors.

Key collaborative projects include operating AI capacity building and career planning support programs and hosting joint forums related to these initiatives. Furthermore, to promote a culture of gender equality, the two sides plan to operate a program to promote male caregiving and provide guidance to member organizations on utilizing work-life balance systems.

Park Jeong-sook, CEO of the Seoul Women and Family Foundation, emphasized the importance of supporting female talents to demonstrate their capabilities in each field in response to the changing AI environment, and announced that she would work to support the growth of female talents and spread a gender-equal organizational culture throughout society, including the science and technology sector, through this agreement.
