AI 데이터 및 신뢰성 평가 전문기업 셀렉트스타 는 과학기술정보통신부와 한국데이터산업진흥원이 주관하는 2026년 데이터바우처 지원사업의 공급기업으로 선정됐다고 밝혔다. 셀렉트스타는 2018년부터 8년 연속 데이터바우처 공급기업으로 참여하며 AI 데이터 전문 기업으로서의 입지를 강화하고 있다.
The Data Voucher Support Project is a government initiative that provides budgetary support in the form of vouchers to small and medium-sized enterprises, venture companies, and small business owners who need to collect and process data. Through this program, companies in need can receive support for the entire process of building data necessary for AI development, from data planning and design to collection, preprocessing, processing, analysis, and utilization.
SelectStar provides multimodal data construction services, encompassing not only single-modality data such as text, images, voice, and video, but also complex data formats such as combined images and text, and video with metadata. Furthermore, it has accumulated experience in building high-quality data in fields requiring a high level of domain understanding, such as law, administration, medicine, and psychology.
In line with the recent trend of AI adoption among companies, SelectStar has also developed a document data cleansing and structuring pipeline for in-house LLM and RAG environments. This technology transforms unstructured documents into a format suitable for AI learning, and SelectStar has proven its capabilities through numerous corporate RAG and in-house database construction projects.
SelectStar, responsible for the data component of the SK Telecom consortium in the government-led Independent AI Foundation Model Project, has been recognized for its capabilities in large-scale data construction, operational stability, and quality management. Its strength lies in its end-to-end pipeline, which integrates the entire process from data collection to processing, inspection, and quality control.
To date, SelectStar has implemented a total of 184 data voucher projects, of which two companies in the healthcare and voice recognition sectors were selected as best practices. Additionally, three companies in the robotics control, autonomous driving, and logistics AI solutions sectors were recognized as excellent companies.
Kim Se-yeop, CEO of Selectstar, said that AI performance starts from data quality, and that based on the experience accumulated through the data voucher project, he would support companies in need to implement highly reliable AI that can be used in actual fields.
Meanwhile, SelectStar has over 330 clients, including major corporations like Samsung, LG, and SK Telecom, and has accumulated experience handling over 250 million data tasks. Data voucher applications and inquiries regarding data construction can be made through SelectStar's official website.
