Zenon, a company specializing in generative AI solutions, announced on the 26th that it had won a contract to build an in-house generative AI service from the Korea Ocean Business Corporation.
This project aims to build an intelligent AI system optimized for the Korea Ocean Business Corporation's work environment. Xenon plans to gradually build a company-wide AI infrastructure over approximately seven months, focusing on stability and scalability, based on its generative AI platform, Xenos.
The core of the project is to maximize the resource utilization of the existing system while organically integrating generative AI technology to secure practical work efficiency. Xenon plans to develop Araon Agent, an AI agent that integrates with Korea Ocean Business Corporation's internal business system, Araon, to increase the usability of the existing system. This will allow employees to utilize AI functions without the need for separate system migration.
To enhance security, all AI infrastructure is built on-premises. Simultaneously, it is designed to flexibly respond to future AI model advancements and service expansion, ensuring both security and scalability.
Araon Agent provides the ability to automatically handle routine tasks dictated by natural language. For procedural inquiries or errors that arise during system use, it analyzes relevant manuals and error guides in real time through natural language queries and suggests solutions. By simultaneously performing task execution and system support, it is expected to improve overall work efficiency.
Technically, we've improved response accuracy by applying search augmentation generation technology. Internal documents in various formats are automatically collected and preprocessed to build a vector database, and a continuous update system maintains the up-to-date information. Furthermore, we've cross-applied multiple large-scale language models and introduced AI guardrail functionality to enhance response stability.
With this project win, Xenon has further strengthened its position in the generative AI business in the public and financial sectors. Previously, Xenon has accumulated technological prowess and reliability through projects for public institutions such as the Bank of Korea and Korea Gas Corporation, where security and stability are crucial. This project is designed to enable expansion into various administrative systems, including human resources, accounting, and general affairs, and is expected to serve as a case study for AI adoption in public institutions.
Xenon CEO Ko Seok-tae stated that AI agents combined with existing business systems are a key element of corporate AI transformation, and that he would support Korea Ocean Business Corporation's AI-based business innovation based on his on-premise construction experience and platform technology.
