Pablo Airlines Secures Strategic Investment from Korean Air

Pablo Aviation, a swarm AI aviation and defense platform company, announced on the 26th that it will begin full-scale cooperation on core technologies encompassing next-generation drones and aviation MRO fields as Korean Air makes its first strategic investment (SI) in the company.

The two companies held an investment agreement signing ceremony at Korean Air's Seosomun building on the 23rd and signed a strategic investment agreement to promote joint technology development and commercialization centered on swarm AI autonomous flight technology and aircraft exterior inspection (MRO) drones.

Korean Air decided to make this investment after evaluating that Pablo Aviation's swarm AI autonomous flight algorithm, integrated control platform, and small and medium-sized drone design and operation technology are competitive in next-generation drone operation and the aviation industry as a whole.

Last October, the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to advance swarm AI technology and agreed on a joint technology development direction encompassing defense and civilian sectors. This strategic investment is a follow-up measure to expand this to the technology and business stages.

In particular, Pablo Aviation proved its global technological competitiveness by winning the CES 2026 Drone Category Innovation Award for its AI swarm drone-based aircraft exterior inspection system 'InspecX' jointly developed with Korean Air.

Pablo Aviation has achieved Level 4 (High Swarming) of its five-level swarm coordination technology and has conducted numerous military demonstrations in combat environments, verifying its practical applicability. At the same time, the company is expanding its application to various industrial sectors, including aerial inspection, industrial safety, and civilian drone solutions.

“Korean Air’s strategic investment demonstrates that swarm AI technology has moved beyond the R&D stage and is now practical for use in actual industrial settings,” said Kim Young-jun, Chairman and Founder of Pablo Aviation. “Through collaboration with Korean Air, a leader in the global aviation industry, we will create new industrial value in the next-generation unmanned aerial vehicles and aerial drones.”
