Edtech startup Freewillin (CEO Kwon Ki-seong) announced that it participated in the '2026 Korea Education Fair' held at COEX in Seoul from January 21st to 23rd and showcased AI-based learning and diagnostic solutions.
Freewillin showcased an AI learning environment and practical use cases that can be directly applied to classroom instruction, focusing on "Schoolplat," a customized AI courseware for schools. The "Today's Learning" feature, which supports student self-directed learning, and the "Group Type Analysis" dashboard, which allows teachers to identify class-wide learning styles and vulnerabilities, garnered attention.
"Today's Learning" encourages learning engagement through daily learning volume and achievement icons, and is designed to allow teachers to adjust the scope of learning to link classroom instruction with individual learning. Teachers who visited the booth gave positive feedback on the ease with which AI teaching tools can be applied to actual classes and the convenience of creating worksheets.
The expo also unveiled expanded features for English and science subjects. In the English section, grammar and textbook-based worksheets, vocabulary drills, and personalized error-solving features were provided. In the science section, grade- and unit-specific worksheets and full question explanations were provided, offering a way to reduce teachers' preparation burden.
Additionally, we held an exhibition of the best works from the '1st Schoolplat Math AI Courseware Utilization Case Contest' and operated a printing learning material experience space, and provided teachers with a 60-day free trial and teaching case materials.
Freewillin was selected as the "Startup of the Year" at this year's expo, acknowledging its classroom-focused technology and growth potential. CEO Kwon Ki-seong stated, "A key criterion was ensuring AI technology could function naturally in the classroom," adding, "We will continue to expand our practical AI courseware."
This exhibition also introduced 'Pulicampus,' an AI courseware for universities, providing an experiential demonstration of class design and learning achievement management from the instructor's perspective.
