Visionworks Ventures Wins Rising Star Award at the Asan Startup Festival

Impact venture studio accelerator Visionworks Ventures (CEO Minpyo Kim) announced on the 26th that it won the Rising Star Award, given to an excellent startup company, at the 'START A Asan City Startup Festival' held at Asan Monamur on the 19th.

The Rising Star Award is given to outstanding startups, selected through a comprehensive evaluation of sales, exports, and employment performance. Visionworks Ventures, based in Asan City, was recognized for its established accelerator program, which identifies promising local startups in the South Chungcheong region and supports their growth into successful startups.

In particular, Visionworks Ventures unveiled an AI data-based business building platform at the event to increase the efficiency of startup nurturing, attracting attention from startup-related organizations, universities, and venture capitalists.

The newly unveiled platform is an AI-based solution that simulates the fit between urban social issues and startup technologies. Its structure supports data-driven policy matching for local governments and market entry strategy development for startups. The goal is to accelerate the digital transformation of the local startup ecosystem.

Visionworks Ventures has fostered approximately 5,100 entrepreneurs to date. Starting in 2023, it will operate an impact accelerator training program focused on the South Chungcheong region, fostering specialized talent to revitalize the local business ecosystem. Last year, it contributed to the development of local startup clusters and the development of regional LYCONs, based in Asan City.

Kim Min-pyo, CEO of Visionworks Ventures, announced that through the newly released AI business building platform, he will establish a structure to solve local urban problems with startup technology and expand scientific acceleration to support the systematic growth of local companies.

Meanwhile, Visionworks Ventures plans to use this award as an opportunity to strengthen its collaboration with the Chungnam Rise Center and local universities, and to utilize its own platform to support local creators and startups in attracting investment and developing sales channels.
