The Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Lee Byeong-seon, hereinafter referred to as the Jeju Center) announced on the 28th that it had signed a business agreement with the Jeju Content Promotion Agency (Director Kang Min-bu) to create an ecosystem for content company startups and nurturing.
This agreement aims to discover content industry-based startups and strengthen support tailored to their growth stages. By leveraging their respective expertise and networks, both organizations plan to establish a collaborative system that will enable content companies to grow and expand steadily.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will collaborate on discovering and nurturing content startups and entrepreneurs, cooperating on open innovation and fund-raising for the growth of local content companies, linking content companies and cooperating on space to revitalize Jeju workation, developing and operating support programs for content startups within and outside the province, and strengthening the competitiveness of the AX-based startup and innovation ecosystem in response to the AI revolution.
In this process, the Jeju Content Enterprise Support Center, which is currently being established by the Jeju Content Promotion Agency, will be utilized as a corporate support base, and customized programs and links will be operated from the initial startup stage to the investment attraction, growth, and scale-up stages.
Furthermore, the two organizations plan to expand exchanges between content companies within and outside the province through various cooperative methods, such as workation linkages and the use of space and networks, and to enhance the openness and competitiveness of the overall Jeju content industry.
Lee Byeong-seon, CEO of the Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center, said that with this agreement, they plan to strengthen the support base for content startups and companies to grow in Jeju and continue to expand the local content startup ecosystem in cooperation with the Jeju Content Promotion Agency.
