Seojin Systems, a global comprehensive manufacturing platform company, announced that it has signed a strategic business agreement with TPC Mechatronics, a smart factory automation specialist, to collaborate on an AI robot foundry business in Vietnam.
This agreement is a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the technological perfection of the robot foundry business being promoted by Seojin Systems, and is significant in that it secures an additional key partner following existing collaborations with Genix Robotics, KNR Systems, Cowintech, and Samhyun.
TPC Mechatronics is a pneumatic equipment specialist, manufacturing and selling key smart factory equipment and components, including pneumatic actuators, precision-controlled linear actuators, orthogonal robots, and collaborative robots, leveraging over 40 years of accumulated technological expertise. The company is particularly well-versed in pneumatic and electric actuators, key drive systems for factory automation.
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to enhance their robot manufacturing capabilities by combining Seojin Systems' vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities with TPC Mechatronics' core AI-based autonomous manufacturing drive technology. Seojin Systems will leverage its experience in mass-producing robot arms and its mass production capabilities, accumulated through collaborations with global customers in the ESS and semiconductor industries, to establish a foundation for the integrated implementation of precision robot drive and intelligent control systems.
This agreement establishes a one-stop production and supply system for a variety of robot products, including AGVs, AMRs, collaborative robots, and humanoids. Based on a robot mass production system utilizing its production base in Vietnam, Seojin Systems has established a collaborative ecosystem across all areas of robot manufacturing, including autonomous driving, core components, automation solutions, vision systems, and AI-powered autonomous manufacturing drive technology.
Seojin Systems plans to foster its robot foundry business as a new growth engine following ESS and semiconductors, and to expand its contract manufacturing business targeting global robot companies.
