Global accelerator SparkLabs announced a seed investment in TeamKai, a company that supplies and operates customer service AI agents. Murex Partners also participated in this round.
Team Kai was founded in 2024, and was founded by CEO Kim Do-ah, who served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the domestic travel platform My Real Trip. The company was founded based on the operational experience accumulated over the past 10 years while overseeing customer centers in the travel industry, which requires high-difficulty consultations such as airlines, accommodations, and tours.
TeamKai focuses on AI agent technology, which performs all aspects of customer service. It offers everything from client adoption consulting to AI agent implementation through direct integration with internal systems, to full outsourcing of customer center operations. Currently, the company has secured clients across diverse industries, including travel, e-commerce, and consumer goods, and has achieved annual recurring sales approaching KRW 100 million within just one year of its founding.
SparkLabs evaluated TeamKai's AI agent technology, which boasts a task completion rate of over 60% and a low rate of error generation, as being competitive in the global AI agent market. Furthermore, through SparkLabs' recommendation, TeamKai was selected for TIPS, a technology startup support program run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
Team Kai plans to use this investment to expand research and development, advance its technology, improve the response rate of its AI agents, and secure new customers.
