Content specialist Dexter Studios announced that it was the only Asian company officially invited to the 'Paris Image Digital Summit Enghien 2026' held in Paris, France, and showcased its technological prowess and production capabilities in Europe.
The Paris Image Digital Summit is a global VFX and digital image industry event held in Enghien-les-Bains, France, a UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts. Beyond technology exhibitions and showcases, it is recognized as a venue for global industry professionals to discuss future strategies and industry changes.
This year's event was attended by representatives from France's National Centre for Cinematography and Film, as well as major European VFX studios and industry organizations. Global film industry figures such as director Luc Besson and Richard Edlund, a founding member of Industrial Light & Magic, also attended. Dexter Studios, a company that represents a new direction for the VFX industry, was officially invited to participate in key discussions.
Dexter Chief Strategy Officer Kim Hye-jin, speaking at the business session, outlined the company's strategy for expanding into a multi-format content studio, leveraging the technological competitiveness and expertise it has accumulated as a leading Asian VFX company. She also shared comprehensive post-production capabilities, a business structure encompassing film, drama, and immersive content, and case studies of in-house production projects.
Additionally, Dexter Studios participated as a panelist in a roundtable discussion titled “The VFX Industry Enters a Time of Great Transformation” and discussed changes in the production environment due to the advancement of AI and future industry strategies with global VFX studio representatives.
Through this event, Dexter Studios showcased its competitiveness and expansion potential beyond VFX to the European market across the content production industry, and plans to continue expanding global collaboration opportunities.
