Softsquared (CEO Lee Ha-neul) announced on the 29th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Findy Korea, the Korean subsidiary of Japanese HR tech company Findy, for development organization operation and productivity innovation.
This agreement aims to measure and analyze the performance of development organizations beyond mere code volume amidst the proliferation of AI adoption, and to translate this into actual operational improvements. The two companies will gradually explore the potential for collaboration, combining their respective data and development organization operational experience to comprehensively assess and improve productivity.
Softsquared has been analyzing organizational operational data, including non-coding tasks such as developers' planning, collaboration, and decision-making, and providing insights that can be utilized in actual operations through its remote-based development team subscription model and its self-developed development team operation solution, Gridge.
Findy is a developer-focused HR tech company adopted by over 1,000 Japanese companies. It analyzes data from collaboration tools like GitHub to visualize an organization's work flow and productivity, and provides solutions that identify areas for improvement.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to explore collaborative models that combine Findee's data-driven productivity diagnostic capabilities with Softsquared's development operations solutions. They will also explore AI-based productivity measurement and improvement methodologies, and examine Korean-Japanese development workforce matching and remote collaboration models. The goal is to build an actionable model that goes beyond simply diagnosing development organization issues and leads to actual operational improvements and performance.
Lee Ha-neul, CEO of Softsquared, said, “In the AI era, the key is not the speed of code writing, but rather the way the entire organization collaborates to create results.” He added, “We will work with Findy to concretize our technological cooperation to the point where we can discover and resolve issues in the development organization.”
“Both Korea and Japan have common challenges, such as a lack of development personnel and the complexity of organizational operations,” said Ga Seung-min, head of sales at Findy Korea. “By combining Findy’s analytical technology and Softsquared’s operational know-how, we will be able to present a practical and sustainable growth model to companies in both countries.”
