AI autonomous driving company Autonomous A2G (CEO Jihyung Han, hereinafter A2G) announced on the 29th that it has recorded sales of 16 billion won in its 2025 financial results, breaking its record for highest sales ever.
A2G's sales in 2025 reached approximately KRW 16 billion, a 50% increase from KRW 10.7 billion the previous year. This growth was primarily driven by pre-commercialization performance, with government and local government R&D projects and demonstration projects undertaken. A2G has proven its business prowess in the domestic autonomous driving market, achieving sales exceeding KRW 10 billion for two consecutive years.
Operational performance has also expanded. As of 2025, A2Z held a cumulative operating permit for 81 autonomous vehicles and operated services in 14 cities and provinces nationwide. The cumulative domestic and international autonomous driving distance reached 934,643 km, equivalent to more than 23 laps around the Earth.
The total number of passengers reached 114,681, with approximately 20,000 people using the service in each of the major test areas, including Anyang, Sejong, Seoul, and Incheon Airport. The rural autonomous driving bus in Hadong, Gyeongsangnam-do, also contributed to solving local transportation problems, with approximately 10,000 passengers. The self-developed Level 4 robo-shuttle, "ROii," was used by 7,685 people at the Gyeongju APEC 2025 and Seoul Cheonggyecheon Stream events, achieving a user satisfaction rating of over 83%.
Based on these achievements, A2Z ranked 7th globally in the "2025 Autonomous Driving Leaderboard" published by global market research firm Guidehouse. In the strategy category, A2Z ranked 5th globally.
Global success continued. A2Z became the first Korean company to obtain a Singapore autonomous driving license and, in collaboration with Grab, launched Singapore's first autonomous shuttle service on public roads. In the UAE, it established a joint venture with local company Space42 and signed an MOU with Japan's Kanematsu General Trading Co., expanding its overseas business base.
Han Ji-hyung, CEO of A2G, said, “2025 is the year in which our technological prowess and business execution capabilities will be verified in the pre-commercialization stage,” and added, “Based on driving data and global experience, we will lead the advancement and commercialization of autonomous driving technology.”
