Doohands (CEO Chanjae Park), which operates the fulfillment service 'Poomgo', announced on the 29th that it has obtained 'ISO/IEC 27001', an international standard information security management system certification, from global ISO certification agency DQS Korea.
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard certification in the field of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) jointly established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It is granted only when 93 control items in organizational, human, physical, and technical areas are met.
This certification covered Poomgo's logistics centers and overall services. Poomgo was officially recognized for having an information security system that meets international standards across all areas, including physical security, information security management systems, and data transmission and management.
As IT-based services become more sophisticated in the logistics industry, the importance of information security is growing. In addition to obtaining this certification, Poomgo provided information security training to all employees and reorganized internal operational processes to enhance the security system.
Through this certification, Doohands has established a foundation for providing fulfillment services with guaranteed security and reliability to brands processing large-scale order data. Furthermore, Doohands anticipates strengthening domestic and international partnerships and enhancing service reliability through securing global standard certification.
Moon Seong-su, CISO of Doohands, said, “Information protection is essential for stable logistics services and system operation,” and added, “ISO/IEC 27001 certification simultaneously serves as external verification and internal inspection, and we will continue to safely protect customer data and provide reliable services.”
