Lightning Market publishes its "2025 Global K-POP Trend Report."

Bungeonjangteo (Co-CEOs Kang Seung-hyun and Choi Jae-hwa) has published its "2025 GLOBAL K-POP MERCH TREND REPORT," compiling a year's worth of transaction data from K-POP fans in 235 countries around the world. The report, now in its second year, demonstrates a 300% increase in global visitors and solidifies Bungeonjangteo's position as a global cultural commerce hub for K-POP.

According to the report, last year, Bungeon Market Global recorded 34.4 million listings annually and approximately 65.4 new product registrations per minute, connecting 235 countries worldwide. Indonesia ranked first in the number of new subscribers by country, while the United States ranked first in total sales based on actual purchasing power. By continent, North America accounted for 51.7% of transactions, followed by Europe at 19.4% and Asia at 19.1%. The total annual shipping distance was approximately 108.95 million km, equivalent to approximately 2,719 laps around the Earth or 142 round trips around the moon.

Differences in merchandise value based on artist preference by country were also confirmed. In Korea, NCT ranked first in both listings and sales, while Stray Kids ranked first in the US, BTS in the UK, and ATEEZ in Germany. In particular, Big Bang Daesung's autographed album was traded for approximately 3.3 million won among global collectors, demonstrating the phenomenon of "value arbitrage" driven by fandom demand.

Fandom firepower was also demonstrated through search volume and transaction speed. Searches for Stray Kids' "SKZ IT TAPE" increased by 4,800%, and ATEEZ's photocards sold out in just 82 seconds after being listed. In Korea, NCT maintained the top spot in sales, while ENHYPEN released the top item on the overall wishlist.

Beyond simple transactions, the flea market also serves as a media outlet, conveying the voice of the fandom. Merchandise related to T1, Playive, and the web novel IP "Demotjuk" ranked high in searches, and the "New Year Billboard Awards" received over 2.9 million votes from fans in 222 countries. The BTS and Cortis fandoms won, demonstrating the global unity and influence of their fandom.

Furthermore, we collaborated with rookie group idntt and 24-member girl group Triple S to run global fan participation campaigns, strengthening our platform function that connects fans and artists around the world. A representative from Beongaejangteo stated, “This report demonstrates that we are the only global platform where the tastes and values of K-pop fandom are proven through real-time data.” They added, “In 2026, we will strengthen our position as a recommerce tech hub that supports transactions and participation from fans around the world by expanding our borderless infrastructure.”
