Cloud specialist company Gabia (Co-CEOs Hong-Guk Kim and Jong-Hong Won) announced on the 30th that it received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the 2nd Corporate Management Awards Ceremony held at Gwacheon Pentawon on the 29th.

The Corporate Management Awards is an awards ceremony hosted by Gwacheon City and the Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town Enterprise Council (KCCI). It selects and awards excellent companies located in Gwacheon Knowledge Information Town that have contributed to the national economic development through technological innovation, job creation, and social responsibility.

Gabia was selected as an overall excellent company, achieving high scores across all evaluation criteria, including growth potential, innovation, job creation, and social responsibility. Key factors cited in the evaluation include building a high-performance AI infrastructure environment based on the Gwacheon Data Center (IDC), completed with the relocation of the integrated headquarters to Gwacheon in 2024, creating quality jobs in the region, and contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of the industrial ecosystem.

Based at the Gwacheon IDC, Gabia provides infrastructure optimized for AI computing and large-scale traffic processing, including high-power racks and GPU servers. Furthermore, it has built an all-in-one business platform, including cloud groupware and virtual desktops, to provide one-stop support for the digital transformation of domestic companies.

A Gabia official stated, “This award is a recognition of our continued investment in enhancing our cloud and AI infrastructure, centered around our Gwacheon IDC,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen our role as a technology partner that supports our clients’ business growth beyond simply providing infrastructure.”

Meanwhile, key figures including Gwacheon Mayor Shin Kye-yong and Korea Association of Science and Technology President Jeong Byeong-yul attended the awards ceremony that day, and Gabia, Itnus, and Seragem were selected as award winners in each category.
