The Korea Mobile Game Association and Fleedus signed an MOU to collaborate on global expansion of the indie game industry.

The Korea Mobile Game Association (Chairman Hwang Seong-ik) and Plidus Co., Ltd. (CEO Lim Chan-eung) announced on the 30th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the development of the small and medium-sized indie game industry in Korea.

Pleeders is a specialized platform that conducts pre-launch playtests with real users and analyzes play logs, surveys, and behavioral data to verify a game's completeness and market fit. Currently, it boasts a pool of over 100,000 testers and over 1,000 test runs. It has conducted FGT, CBT, and OBT projects for numerous indie games and small and medium-sized game companies.

Beyond the domestic market, Plitheus is expanding its collaborations with overseas publishers and global game companies. It has signed MOUs with publishers in various countries, including Georgia, Spain, Hong Kong, and the United States. It provides Korean user-based testing for their titles, and also introduces and matches domestic indie games with international partners. Through these efforts, Plitheus serves as a practical gateway for domestic developers to connect with global publishers.

Through this agreement, the two organizations will collaborate on supporting global expansion through networking and inviting Korean companies to business matching events using Fleedus' database of overseas investors and publishers. Furthermore, in conjunction with the "Indie Craft" project, a Korean indie game festival, Fleedus will support user evaluations utilizing Fleedus' FGT expertise when selecting excellent developers. Fleedus will also join the Korea Mobile Game Association as an executive member, and other areas of cooperation will be explored.

Lim Chan-young, CEO of Fleedus, stated, "Domestic indie game developers often fail to gain sufficient market validation despite creating excellent games. Through this collaboration, we will improve the quality of their games based on actual user feedback from the early stages of development and help more indie games become competitive in domestic and international markets." He added, "Fleedus will contribute to the growth of the indie game ecosystem by going beyond simple testing to becoming a partner that supports data-driven decision-making."

Hwang Seong-ik, Chairman of the Korea Mobile Game Association, said, “We will work with Plidus to build a testing system in which both users and developers can participate, thereby helping K-indie games advance into the global market.”
