Dental digital solutions company Glaude (CEO Ji Jin-woo) announced on the 30th that its digital prosthesis management platform, JustScan software, has simultaneously obtained ISO 13485 and ISO 27001 certifications.
This certification objectively recognizes that the JustScan platform has a quality management and information protection system that meets international standards across the entire software and data processing structure related to dental care.
ISO 13485 is a quality management system (QMS) certification specialized for the medical device industry. It requires a rigorous quality management system not only for hardware but also for the software that processes and controls medical data. ISO 27001 is an international information security standard that verifies the security management system for key information assets, such as clinical data and prosthetic ordering and manufacturing information generated during platform operation.
JustScan connects the dental treatment flow from oral scan data reception to design, output linkage, and final installation into a single service, and this certification strengthens the software stability and data security system.
Glaude has established its platform development and operation to meet medical device-level quality standards, and believes that this certification will enhance the reliability of its platform-based services not only in Korea but also in overseas dental markets with strict regulations.
Ji Jin-woo, CEO of Gloud, said, “This ISO 13485 and ISO 27001 certification proves that the JustScan platform meets the quality and security standards required as medical device software.” He added, “Based on our structural strengths in providing a one-stop service for the dental treatment flow, we will grow into a digital dentistry platform that is trusted in the global market.”
