Guru Company aims to achieve annual sales of 5.4 billion won by 2025.

B2B content plugin company Guru Company (CEO Wonhyuk Choi) announced on the 30th that it recorded annual sales of 5.4 billion won in 2025. The company confirmed the potential for business structure expansion, reflecting sales from its existing webtoon and web novel content businesses, as well as the newly launched game division this year.

Guru Company offers webtoon and web novel solutions in the form of plugins that operate within corporate apps without separate installation. This allows companies to leverage existing app traffic to drive additional content usage and generate revenue. Some partner apps have shown increased user retention compared to previous versions.

Launched in December 2025, the minigame is Guru Company's core new business, generating cumulative sales of 150 million won in the first month after its launch. The game is currently generating between 4 million and 8 million won in daily sales across approximately 20 financial apps. The company positively evaluated the initial launch results and stated that it plans to continue verifying the game's long-term sustainability and scalability.

Minigames are designed to be played immediately within a company's app, benchmarking the structure of China's Tencent's "WeChat Mini Programs," without the need for a separate download. This allows companies to generate additional revenue from their existing user base without additional marketing costs.

Guru Company currently has around 40 partners, with a particularly high proportion coming from the financial sector and large platform companies. Its webtoon and web novel services have proven their competitiveness by recording high usage indicators within the Toss mini-app. Building on this foundation, the company is continuously accumulating proven examples of content monetization models within B2B apps.

The company's development and operations are led by personnel from global game companies such as Nexon Korea, Sega Korea, and NCsoft Japan, and the company is currently introducing AI technology to improve content production efficiency.

Guru Company is currently raising Series A funding and exploring overseas expansion, including into the Japanese market. CEO Choi Won-hyeok stated, "Our 2025 performance demonstrates that our plugin-based content model can drive real revenue," adding, "We plan to expand our content types and applicable industries in the future."

Guru Company specializes in platform solutions that support user activation and revenue generation within the enterprise app ecosystem. Its leadership team includes executives with experience in IT startup creation and M&A, as well as game and ad tech experts.
