
Uclick, an AI and data specialist, announced on the 30th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sookmyung Women's University to foster key AI talent. This agreement aims to systematically cultivate AI talent with practical skills by linking the university's educational and career support infrastructure with the company's AI technology expertise and industry experience, establishing a collaborative system that leads to job placement.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to jointly plan and operate industry-academia cooperation programs in the AI field, expand practical training and career exploration programs, and strengthen industry-linked activities such as internships and mentoring. This will help students move beyond theory-based education to acquire the technical understanding and job skills required in the industrial field.
Sookmyung Women's University is enhancing its AI-integrated educational environment, focusing on cutting-edge departments like the Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering and the Data Science major, as well as the AI Center. Furthermore, through the University Job Plus Center, the university offers various support programs to enhance students' employment competitiveness, including career and employment consulting, recruitment assistance, and job competency enhancement training.
Uclick has accumulated technological capabilities and industry insights in AI and data through collaborations with global IT companies such as Oracle, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Google Cloud. Building on this experience, Uclick plans to incorporate proven technical cases and project management experience from actual industrial settings into its curriculum, helping students understand industry structures and workflows.
In particular, Uclick plans to gradually expand its customized practical training and career exploration programs for students based on its consulting experience accumulated across the domestic IT industry, thereby contributing to strengthening employment competitiveness in the AI field.
President Moon Si-yeon of Sookmyung Women's University explained that this agreement is the starting point for cooperation to cultivate talents who will lead the digital age and fulfill social responsibility, and announced that the university will actively support strengthening the employment capabilities of young people through close cooperation between universities and companies.
