Touraine Cloud Signs Strategic MOU with Sota Tech Korea

Touraine Cloud and Sota Tech Korea announced the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) and the initiation of a full-scale collaboration for global market entry. This agreement aims to create synergy by combining the two companies' technological prowess and business capabilities, and jointly expand their AI and cloud-based platform business in the Asian market, focusing on Vietnam.

Sota Tech Korea, the Korean subsidiary of Sota Tech, a fast-growing IT company based in Vietnam, boasts over 1,500 developers worldwide and operates global offices in six countries: the US, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Australia. Founded three years ago, the Korean subsidiary employs approximately 60 people and leverages a hybrid model, where Korean project managers, planners, and designers collaborate with Vietnamese developers to ensure both quality and cost efficiency. Building on this foundation, the company has completed various projects with major Korean companies, including Musinsa, Burger King, Coway, YBM, Kyobo Book Centre, and Doosan Robotics.

Twoline Cloud, an AI- and cloud-based platform company, strengthened its capabilities through the acquisition of a desktop service platform (DaaS) business in 2024. Its core solutions currently include MSAP.ai, an AI-based microservice architecture (MSA) conversion platform, and HyperDex, a cloud-native DaaS solution. MSAP.ai analyzes existing monolithic legacy systems using AI and automatically designs and converts them to a microservices architecture (MSA). HyperDex is a virtual desktop service with enhanced security and operational efficiency. Based on these technologies, Twoline Cloud is modernizing its domestic enterprise legacy systems and expanding into Asian markets such as Japan and Vietnam.

Through this agreement, the two companies will establish a mutually complementary partnership with clearly defined roles. Twoline Cloud will provide core technology platforms, including MSAP.ai and HyperDex, while Sota Tech Korea will leverage its extensive development resources and global network to develop system integration (SI) solutions and execute projects based on these solutions. Both companies aim for a revenue-sharing joint business model, moving beyond mere collaboration to establish a tangible revenue-generating structure.

In particular, Touraine Cloud has prioritized entering the Vietnamese market, leveraging Sota Tech Korea's global network. Targeting Vietnam's public, government, and defense sectors, which have high security requirements, Touraine Cloud will provide a HyperDex-based, security-enhanced DaaS service. The solution will be built on top of the local CSP infrastructure, and joint marketing and sales efforts are also being explored. The two companies aim to differentiate themselves through a DaaS service that incorporates AI-driven automation and a zero-trust security model, thereby securing a competitive edge and targeting the global public and enterprise markets, including Vietnam.

Going forward, Sota Tech Korea plans to conduct a technology verification (PoC) for the Touraine Cloud solution and, based on this, prepare proposals for actual customers in the Vietnamese and Japanese markets. Touraine Cloud will provide the necessary technical training and support, and the two companies plan to gradually enhance their cooperation.

Touraine Cloud CEO Shin Hyun-seok described this agreement as a practical partnership that combines a technology platform and global development capabilities, and announced that the company will set a new standard for AI and cloud-based system modernization in the Asian market, starting with Vietnam.
