
Pluto (CEO Lee Jung-soo), an AI data and solutions company, announced on the 2nd that it has implemented its AI translation solution, "Chat Translation Enterprise," at Shinsegae Department Store's Boon the Shop Cheongdam branch and House of Shinsegae Cheongdam. This implementation builds on its experience operating the company's flagship store and Gangnam branch, expanding its reach to luxury retail spaces.
The Pluto solution is installed in tablet form at customer service desks and supports up to 37 languages. This allows the Bund Shop Cheongdam and House of Shinsegae Cheongdam locations to move beyond English-centric customer service and establish a global customer service system that enables real-time communication with customers from various countries, including China and Southeast Asia.
The Bund Shop Cheongdam branch is an edited store offering high-end fashion and lifestyle brands from around the world, while House of Shinsegae Cheongdam is a residential retail space integrating food, fashion, living, and dining. The introduction of this solution is expected to enhance the customer experience and efficiency of international customer service.
