
Snowflake Korea, an AI data cloud company, announced on the 2nd that four Koreans were selected as 'Snowflake Data Superheroes', an award given to experts who have contributed to the expansion of the company's ecosystem.
The Data Superhero Program nurtures data experts and developer community leaders who contribute to the expansion of the Snowflake ecosystem through various activities, including community education, conference participation, and content creation. This year, 125 individuals from 25 countries around the world were selected.
The Korean winners are Lee Jae-myeon, Team Leader at Nexon Korea; Han Ye-seong, Data Engineer at Toss Securities; Jeon Su-beom, AI Data Architect at Pulmuone; and Seong Sun-mo, AI Engineer at KT. Each of these individuals has driven innovation through data utilization and AI projects based on the Snowflake platform at their respective companies.
The winners will strengthen their expertise through networking, advanced training, and certification programs, participate in product roadmap discussions, and contribute to service development. Pulmuone Architect Jeon Su-beom explained, "We standardized company-wide data and implemented an AI-based decision-making system using Snowflake," while KT Engineer Seong Sun-mo stated, "We plan to apply the Snowflake platform and AI capabilities to our work and share best practices."
The selection criteria are four: community participation, content creation, certified expertise, and social media activity contribution. Regular content sharing and participation in forums and user groups are evaluated.
Snowflake Korea supports the development of data experts and knowledge exchange, focusing on the domestic user community, with approximately 1,200 experts participating.
