Raon Robotics recorded operating profit of KRW 4.3 billion and sales of KRW 53.9 billion last year.

Laon Robotics, a semiconductor vacuum robot specialist, announced on the 2nd that it recorded its best performance ever last year, thanks to the expansion of semiconductor processes and increased overseas exports.

Laon Robotics' separate operating profit for the year reached KRW 4.3 billion, a 69% increase year-on-year, and sales reached KRW 53.9 billion. In the fourth quarter of last year, operating profit reached KRW 1.2 billion, a 141% increase year-on-year. Sales for the same period reached KRW 15 billion, and net profit reached KRW 1.5 billion.

This performance improvement was driven by performance in overseas markets. Laon Robotics achieved tangible results in overseas exports, leveraging its expertise in semiconductor wafer transport robots and related solutions, leading to sales growth. The global expansion of semiconductor processes also contributed positively to the performance improvement.

In line with its performance growth, Raon Robotics has also strengthened its shareholder return policy. Raon Robotics received approval to transfer capital reserves for tax-exempt dividends and decided to pay a cash dividend of 200 won per share at its 26th regular shareholders' meeting this year. The dividend yield is 1.9%, and the total dividend amount is 2.38433 billion won.

Raon Robotics is recognized for its technological prowess in vacuum robots that transport wafers in vacuum environments, and based on this expertise, it is expanding its collaborations with global semiconductor equipment manufacturers. The company is securing competitiveness in particle control, precision, and vibration suppression through technologies such as link drive, individual control, and reducer-less direct drive (DD) motors.

Yuanta Securities recently analyzed in a report that Raon Robotics' DD motor technology can reduce vibration in wafer transfer robots by more than 50%, which is expected to lead to increased demand as microfabrication processes expand. Furthermore, the company announced that it is preparing for mass production with a Chinese semiconductor equipment manufacturer and is also in supply discussions with Japanese and American companies.

Additionally, Raon Robotics is expanding its product lineup by launching the new 'VACTRA' series.
