Catch Table, operated by Ward (CEO Yong Tae-soon), a specialized integrated solutions company for the food service industry, announced that it will participate as an official partner of MBN's new survival entertainment program 'Bread of the World'.
'Cheonha Jebak' is Korea's first K-bakery survival program where 72 baking and pastry experts from all over the country compete. Actress Da-hee Lee will host the program, and the judges include master chef Seok-won Lee, pastry chef Na-rae Kim, CEO Hee-young Noh, and chef Seong-jun Kwon.
Catch Table showcases the restaurants of chefs and bakers featured on the show as "waiting tables," allowing customers to remotely receive a waiting number via an app and secure any available seats within the restaurant. The goal is to reduce inconvenience during the wait and enhance the customer experience.
A Catch Table representative stated, “We will support the interest generated through the program so that it can lead to actual store visits and experiences,” and added, “We plan to continue expanding our role as a platform connecting gourmet content and consumers in the future.”
The Catch Table waiting service officially launched in June 2023, and features a variety of waiting hot spots, including local long-established stores, restaurants, cafes, and bakeries.
