Seelab Receives KISA Intelligent CCTV Performance Test Certification in the Fire Prevention Category

SeeLab , a vision AI specialized company, announced on the 3rd that it has obtained certification in the fire prevention field among the intelligent CCTV performance test certification sectors hosted by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

Intelligent CCTV performance testing certification assesses the accuracy of a system's ability to identify and detect specific events based on a certification video database. Seelab met the certification criteria by detecting fire-related incidents with over 90% accuracy in RGB and IR camera footage.

Seelab plans to apply the recently certified fire detection technology to its real-time AI video analysis platform, X-IVA, to detect fire outbreaks and abnormal signs in real-time. This technology is expected to serve as a key enabler for early fire detection and accident prevention in diverse fields, including public safety control, smart cities, industrial facilities, and multi-use facilities.

Seelab previously obtained KISA certification in 2022 based on its technologies related to loitering, intrusion, and marketing. Currently, it has trained over 130 vision models to precisely analyze objects and situations in video. Building on this, it is expanding its application to complex abnormal behavior recognition.

Based on future certified AI models, SeeLab plans to enhance the accuracy and operational stability of real-time anomaly detection required in public and industrial settings, and continuously expand its video analysis capabilities applicable to various environments.
