Asan Nanum Foundation is recruiting companies to participate in its Maru startup placement program for the first half of 2026.

Asan Nanum Foundation announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting startups to participate in the first half of 2026 placement program of the entrepreneurship platform 'MARU' until February 27th.

Maru is a startup incubator located in the Yeoksam-dong Entrepreneurship Street in Seoul. It offers a variety of support, including startup space, networking, and training. Currently, it houses approximately 30 startups, as well as domestic and international venture capital firms, accelerators, and startup support organizations.

The selected placement teams will be able to use the office space, conference rooms, lounges, event halls, studios, and other auxiliary facilities at 'Maru 180' and 'Maru 360' for up to 1 year and 6 months, and will only be responsible for the minimum actual expenses required for facility management.

Additionally, through "Marubenefit," a partnership with OpenAI, NVIDIA, and Antropic, startups can access essential services for early-stage startups, including cloud computing, AI, development, recruitment, PR, and welfare, at free or discounted rates. Overseas expansion support and access to the global community hub "Marubenefit" are also provided.

Deployment teams can also participate in "Maru Connect," where they can receive one-on-one mentoring from over 90 industry experts and senior entrepreneurs; "Maru IR Matching," a program that connects startups with venture capitalists; and an accelerator program that strengthens team execution capabilities. Pay-it-forward community events and networking opportunities are also available.

Starting this year, startups with a growth mindset will be selected, with no restrictions on the age of incorporation. Venture-certified companies will be given preference, and those in the gambling and entertainment industries will be excluded. Applications will be accepted from February 3rd to 27th on Maru's official website. The final list, following document and interview screening, will be announced at the end of March. Move-in will begin in early May.

Cheon Seong-woo, team leader of the Asan Nanum Foundation Startup Team, said, “Maru is an entrepreneurship platform designed to truly foster the growth of startups, and we look forward to receiving support from startups that will join us in creating the next stage of growth.”
