Korea Education Group and EBS Media announced on the 2nd that they signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) for joint development of AI-based educational animation content and expansion of global IP business.

This agreement aims to build a next-generation educational content business model by combining AI video technology with the content reliability of public educational broadcasting. The two companies plan to combine their production, distribution, and IP capabilities to establish a content pipeline targeting the global market.

Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly plan and produce AI-based animation broadcast programs, advance AI video production technology and research production pipelines, and develop joint IP businesses and licensing models targeting global distribution. To achieve this, they will form a task force and embark on a new project that integrates AI technology, content, and IP.

Glitch Goblin Studio, a subsidiary of Korea Education Group, specializes in 2D and 3D AI animation production and operates the YouTube Kids channel "Little Songland." By becoming the first Korean studio to regularly air the AI 3D animation "Little Songland" on AniOne TV (Daewon Broadcasting), Glitch Goblin Studio has proven its AI production system, which reduces production time and costs while ensuring broadcast quality.

Kim In-hee, executive producer of Glitch Goblin Studio, said, “Based on EBS Media’s IP business know-how, we plan to present creative IPs that can be distributed in the global market,” and “Our goal is also to develop first-ever educational materials like BBC Number Blocks.”
