Colosseum Signs Business Agreement with WAC&Co.

On the 29th, Colosseum signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hong Kong-based logistics company WAC & Co., accelerating the expansion of its logistics network in the Greater China region connecting Hong Kong, mainland China, and Singapore.

Colosseum has strategically positioned Hong Kong, a key hub connecting global markets and mainland China, as its base and partnered with Wark & Co., a Korean-owned global logistics company with unrivaled local infrastructure. The two companies have achieved the shortest lead time possible, enabling "24-hour delivery" between Korea and Hong Kong. This reduces inventory burdens for trend-sensitive brands in areas like K-beauty and K-fashion, while securing a strong logistics edge that enables immediate response to local demand.

This network expansion connects Colosseum to key logistics hubs in mainland China, such as Weihai and Shenzhen, and expands its service area to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia, all across Southeast Asia, centered around Wark & Co's Singapore and Vietnam bases. This expansion will provide one-stop support for companies navigating the complex logistics process they face when entering the Asian market.

Furthermore, Colosseum will fully implement its logistics solution, "Colo AI," for this expansion, standardizing the country-specific logistics environment and customs clearance procedures based on data. In response to the growing demand for re-entry from Chinese manufacturers seeking to leverage Korea as a logistics hub, Colosseum plans to accelerate its global roadmap, including expansion into mainland China by 2026.

Colosseum also enables immediate logistics execution in Taiwan, another axis of the Greater China logistics belt. Considering the Taiwanese market's notorious high barriers to entry, Colosseum offers an "import agency service" that enables immediate product distribution without the need for a local subsidiary. Colosseum offers a comprehensive, category-neutral logistics service, with an automated system that integrates in real time with major global e-commerce platforms like Coupang and Shopee, as well as an advanced cold chain infrastructure capable of handling even fresh food.

Park Jin-soo, CEO of Colosseum, said, “By combining Wark & Co.’s strong infrastructure in Hong Kong, China, and Southeast Asia with Colosseum’s technological prowess, we have resolved the uncertainty of building a global logistics network, which was the biggest concern for our companies,” adding, “Through a global roadmap extending to Singapore and the Middle East, we will leap forward as a DX partner that leads logistics standards in the global market beyond Asia.”
