New Paradigm Investment (Co-CEOs Sang-Seung Bae and Je-Hyeon Park), an accelerator specializing in early-stage startup investment and scale-up, announced on the 3rd that it has published an e-book version of the periodical publication “Baby Unicorn Roadmap 2026: 7-Step Action Plan for Success,” which outlines strategies and implementation frameworks for nurturing baby unicorns in the era of AI Transformation (AX).
This publication is the second in a series titled "New Paradigm Growth Roadmap," which structures startup growth from an AI-first, AI-native perspective. New Paradigm Investment is not simply an investor; it's a unicorn builder and AI scale-up partner. It has systematized its support experience, linking post-investment to increased corporate value.
New Paradigm concluded that, as AI reshapes the competitive landscape across industries, the core competitiveness of startups lies in AI transformation (AX), transcending traditional digital transformation (DX). In particular, it noted the rapidly widening gap between companies leveraging AI as a complementary tool and AI-native companies designed with AI in mind.
"Baby Unicorn Roadmap 2026" presents a seven-step AI scale-up path that companies must navigate from the initial startup phase to the baby unicorn stage. It includes strategies for rapid design and verification of AI-based MVPs, global market entry using AI simulations, designing KPIs focused on corporate value rather than sales, and strategies for securing long-term competitiveness through data asset monetization, all illustrated with real-world examples.
It also included open innovation with large corporations, a strategy linking policy funding such as TIPS, and an IR storytelling structure leading to follow-up investments. This reflects the New Paradigm investment and nurturing approach, proven through successes such as BlueMTech's KOSDAQ listing.
This publication is significant in that it marks the first time New Paradigm Investment has publicly disclosed its internal framework as an AI-native investment firm. It also outlines a strategic direction to regularly share its growth model, built on over 1,000 annual IR reviews and investment and scale-up experience in approximately 80 companies.
"Baby Unicorn Roadmap 2026" will be sold as an e-book through major online bookstores such as YES24, and is expected to serve as a strategy guide for entrepreneurs, startup executives, and aspiring entrepreneurs aiming for rapid growth and scale-up in the AI era.
