Seoul Electronics and Telecommunications Sign Business Agreement with Otitone Medical.

Seoul Electronics and Telecommunications Co., Ltd. (CEO Nam Hwa-seong) announced on the 4th that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with smart healthcare specialist Otiton Medical Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jae-young) to promote the smart thermometer and smart treatment device business.

Through this agreement, the two companies aim to establish a cooperative system across the entire process of smart healthcare device development, prototype production, mass production, quality control, and commercialization, thereby strengthening market competitiveness.

Key areas of collaboration include: ▲establishing a mass production system for products; ▲prototype production and performance/quality verification; ▲stable product production and supply; and ▲ensuring quality stability throughout the entire production process. Otiton Medical will be responsible for product planning and design, core technology development, product specification definition, certification acquisition, distribution, sales, and marketing. Seoul Electronics and Telecommunications will be responsible for overall production and manufacturing, as well as quality control, ensuring a stable mass production system.

Seoul Electronics and Telecommunications plans to leverage its existing manufacturing technology and quality management capabilities to expand into the smart healthcare device sector, responding to the growing demand for high-quality manufacturing in the medical and healthcare markets. The two companies will sequentially proceed with prototype verification and mass production preparation, and discuss additional collaboration options as needed.
