Tripbtoz CEO Jiha Jeong gave a lecture on the topic of 'Future Travel' at the Hotelbeds HBX Conference held in Bali, Indonesia, and presented influencer commerce and artificial intelligence (AI) as key drivers that will transform the travel industry in the future.
In his lecture, CEO Jeong stated, “Travel consumption is moving away from price comparisons and is based on recommendations from people who share real experiences,” and explained that influencer-based travel consumption is rapidly spreading, particularly in Korea and China.
TripBitoz has built a three-party ecosystem, including celebrities and influencers, on top of the existing OTA (Online Travel Agency) structure. Short-form travel videos produced by users and influencers go beyond mere content and serve as conversion tools that lead to actual bookings. Influencers receive commissions and Trip Cash for product sales.
“This structure, designed to allow even local creators to participate, is creating new travel demand that goes beyond existing tourist routes,” said CEO Jeong. “A single travel video contains information equivalent to thousands of words, which is a key data asset that allows AI to understand travelers’ preferences and provide sophisticated recommendations throughout the entire process.”
