TS Trillion Wins KRW 14.8 Billion AI Data Center Construction Project

TS Trillion's subsidiary, Vivir Company, announced on the 5th that it had signed a contract worth a total of 14.8 billion won for the supply and construction of MEP (mechanical, electrical, and piping) power infrastructure for the first data center construction project in South Jeolla Province.

This project integrates power, cooling, and battery infrastructure—critical elements of data center operation—and features a power design optimized for AI and high-density server environments. With this contract, BBR Company is recognized for once again demonstrating its technological prowess and business capabilities in the data center power infrastructure sector.

The project will feature uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and automatic transfer switches (STS) from Vertiv, a global data center power solutions company. The energy storage system will feature AMPACE batteries from CATL, the world's leading ESS market share company. These features are designed to prevent power outages, ensure power stability, and reduce fire risks.

The Jeonnam Data Center will be built with a capacity of 26 MW in Phase 1 and is expected to expand to 34 MW in Phase 2. This facility, the first data center in the Jeonnam region, is expected to serve as a key regional digital infrastructure, addressing the growing demand for AI, cloud computing, and public data.

Park Joo-hoon, Vice Chairman of TS Trillion, stated that this contract is significant as it marks the construction of the first AI data center in South Jeolla Province, and that it demonstrates market recognition of BBR Company's power infrastructure expertise. He further explained that the company will provide power infrastructure that ensures both stability and efficiency throughout the phased construction and expansion process.
