AI tech company Crowdworks announced on the 5th that it successfully completed AI training for the 'Cheonan City Hub Smart City Development Project' commissioned by Cheonan City and Cheonan Science and Industry Promotion Agency.
This training program was designed to accelerate the transition to AI across Cheonan's industries and foster a citizen-led AI culture. Combining Crowdworks' AI technology expertise with its subsidiary Crowd Academy's educational design capabilities, the program offered hands-on, step-by-step training from beginner to intermediate levels. AI camps and seminars were also held.
This training, aimed at Cheonan City office workers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and job seekers, attracted over four times the number of applicants, demonstrating strong interest. A satisfaction survey conducted after the training concluded showed an average satisfaction rating of 4.5 out of 5 for the three AI training sessions. The training structure and content received a 4.72 rating, demonstrating the completeness of the curriculum.
This project went beyond theoretical training and involved trainees developing AI services that leverage Cheonan City's public data to address local issues. Key outcomes include a 24-hour AI civil complaint consultation service utilizing RAG technology, a smart budget planning system that improves budget accuracy to 95%, and a multilingual public facility usage guide supporting seven languages.
Crowdworks explained that through this training, it was able to identify practical AI service cases based on public data, thereby confirming the potential of implementing customized smart cities and citizen-participatory AI utilization models.
