Mediana, a subsidiary of Selvas AI, announced on the 6th that it will participate in 'WHX Dubai 2026', the largest medical device exhibition in the Middle East, held in Dubai from the 9th to the 12th.
Mediana will present its exhibition message, "Connecting All Care for Better Life," and will introduce a solution strategy that connects and integrates patient biosignals and medical device status information generated in various medical environments, including hospitals and emergency rooms, tailored to the specific needs of each environment. The focus is on reducing the management burden caused by information disconnection and repetitive inspections in medical settings.
The exhibition booth consists of a hospital zone and an emergency medical zone. The hospital zone showcases a monitoring environment where vital sign data, such as heart rate and blood pressure, measured by patient monitors (PMDs) are integrated into a centralized monitoring system (CMS), allowing medical staff to simultaneously monitor and manage multiple patients' conditions on a single screen.
The Emergency Medical Zone will showcase a remote solution (MD RMS) that transmits patient vital signs measured by a high-end defibrillator (Monitor/Defibrillator) at the emergency scene to the hospital in real time, enabling medical staff to assess the patient's condition and respond before they even arrive. Furthermore, the zone will present an operational method that links automated external defibrillators (AEDs) installed in public facilities with a remote management solution (AED RMS) to remotely monitor equipment operation and consumable replacement times.
Mediana is focusing on wireless integrated monitoring and emergency medical lifecycle solutions, combining its existing wired patient monitoring system-centric business structure with wireless wearable devices, as a mid- to long-term new business pillar. At this exhibition, the company plans to showcase new product lines, including next-generation patient monitoring devices, automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and electric defibrillators (ACMs).
A Mediana representative stated that this exhibition goes beyond the supply of medical devices and presents a direction for improving operational efficiency by connecting dispersed medical data and equipment management. They also stated that they will expand partnerships in the global market based on products and solutions that reflect the characteristics of each country and medical environment.
Meanwhile, Mediana currently supplies medical devices to approximately 80 countries worldwide and collaborates with approximately 2,800 global partners. With a cumulative supply of over 700,000 units, the company is leveraging the market experience it has gained through this endeavor to continuously expand its customer base overseas, including in the Middle East.
