Future School aims to achieve annual transaction volume of 48.2 billion won through live classes by 2025.

Future School (CEO Shin Cheol-heon), operator of the knowledge commerce builder LiveKlass, announced that LiveKlass' annual transaction volume reached 48.2 billion won in 2025. Annual transaction volume is the sum of the sales of creators utilizing LiveKlass over the course of a year.

Live Class's total annual transaction volume grew approximately 210% year-on-year, from KRW 7.6 billion in 2023 to KRW 23.6 billion in 2024, and then more than doubled again to KRW 48.2 billion in 2025. This figure represents a sixfold increase in just three years, demonstrating the rapid expansion of the direct-to-consumer (D2C) model, where knowledge creators operate their businesses primarily through their own channels, rather than relying on external platforms.

LiveClass is a knowledge commerce builder that allows creators to create personal channels and directly plan, sell, and operate knowledge content without the need for separate development staff or external platforms. It allows users to manage various types of knowledge products, including lectures, videos, e-books, and challenges, in a single space, and provides integrated features such as payment, student management, community management, and marketing automation.

Creators utilizing live classes are increasing profitability by going beyond selling individual courses and designing a tiered product structure that begins with free content, progresses to low-priced products, and then moves on to mid- to high-priced programs. This approach, built on proprietary channels to build relationships with students and encourage repeat purchases, is establishing itself as a business model that transcends one-time sales and is scalable over the long term.

Currently, Live Class is being utilized by creators across various fields, including YouTuber "Vitamin Shinjini," who boasts 1.3 million subscribers for her weight loss and home workout diet content, as well as creators in various fields, such as job training, study, finance, and lifestyle. Even among creators with around 10,000 subscribers, there are increasing instances of monthly revenues in the tens of millions of won, fostering a structure that doesn't rely solely on a select few large creators. Accordingly, creator support programs like "Live Class Rocket Launching" are also being implemented.

Shin Cheol-heon, CEO of Future School, said that the knowledge business market is moving beyond the growth phase centered on a few leading creators and entering a period of expansion where the operation method is becoming more sophisticated and the base is expanding, and that Live Class will play a role in establishing the content of knowledge creators into a stable business structure.
