
The Korea Mobile Game Association (Chairman Hwang Seong-ik) announced that it will hold the '2026 AI & Game Industry Forum' at Platform L Platform Live in Seoul on February 27th.
This forum, hosted and organized by the Korea Mobile Game Association and sponsored by Megazone Soft and Alibaba Cloud, consists of a seminar in the first half and a networking party in the second. It aims to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized domestic game developers by examining rapidly evolving AI technology trends and sharing practical application cases in game development.
The first part of the seminar will feature expert presentations on AI and the gaming industry. In the AI session, Alibaba Cloud's Tech Lead, Jongjin Lim, will introduce AI solutions that can be utilized in game development and operation, while Megazone Soft's Team Leader, Chaeyeon Hong, will explain how to apply AI to content production, focusing on Alibaba Cloud's AI visual model and Megazone Soft's references. Next, NC AI Managing Director Sujin Lim will share game AI technologies and application cases used in mobile game production, while Anchor Node CEO Jaeho Won will present the changes in the game development environment and future directions following AI.
The gaming industry session will cover content operation and convergence business cases. Hive CEO Won Se-yeon will present IP expansion strategies through the case study of the long-running mobile IP "Dragon Village." Starlike Director Lee Hyeong-cheol will discuss the importance of guidelines for balancing AI adoption with subculture fandom. Next, Toss Head of Headquarters Hwang Ji-man will explain the mini-game market and the potential of AI utilization, while Scatter Lab CEO Kim Jong-yoon will introduce a new content paradigm focusing on AI entertainment service cases.
Following the seminar, which runs from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, a networking party will be held, where approximately 80 industry professionals, including game developers, publishers, platforms, and investors, will attend to explore opportunities for networking and collaboration.
Through this forum, the Korea Mobile Game Association plans to share ways to improve development efficiency and innovate content using AI technology, and to support the practical growth of small and medium-sized game developers.
